X FACTOR judge Louis Walsh has claimed that boss Simon Cowell has absolutely no interest in Christopher Maloney’s career should he win.
Walsh said: “I know Simon loves James and Jahmene, but I can’t remember him talking about Chris.”
“Chris, who is Chris? Oh he is still there, the Liverpool guy. He has got a nan there”, he joked.
However the Liverpool singer has hit back at his critics, many who’ve dubbed him ‘Christopher Baloney’ because of misleading judges of his cruise ship past.
“It’s Simon’s show and if he didn’t want me in it I probably wouldn’t be here”, he said.
It has been reported that Cowell was eager to get the singer voted of the programme – last weekend the judges complimented Maloney’s performance for the first time, as it was believed the negative criticisms were mobilising his voters.
The singer is set to duet with mentor Gary Barlow during the final tomorrow night, when they will perform a Take That hit to attempt to woe the band’s fans into voting for Maloney.
The X Factor final will take place over Saturday and Sunday this weekend in Manchester.
