Fresh from her role in The Tudors, Rathfarnham-born Sarah is stepping back in time again for the pilot episode of Gilded Lillys being made by Grey’s Anatomy creator Shonda Rhimes.

Sarah (21) plays the part of Violet, the granddaughter of the family matriarch Caroline Lilly, played by Gwyneth Paltrow’s real life mother, Blythe Danner.

She first found fame with her sister Emma as child stars in Jim Sheridan's 'In America', and then came a stream of A-List roles in movies like Stormbreaker, The Spiderwick Chronicles and most recently The Moth Diaries.

A former pupil of The Young People’s Theatre Company, Sarah next stars in the psychological thriller Crush alongside X-Men actor Lucas Till, Crazy Stupid Love star Crystal Reed and Monaghan-born supermodel Catríona Balfe.
