Former UK judge Kelly Rowland and Mexican singer Paulina Rubio are leading the female dominated judging panel on this year's show.
Simon Cowell really is a ladies man. The pop mogul has begun the audition process for the new series of The X Factor USA and he's using girl power to lead the way.
Former UK X Factor judge Kelly Rowland has joined the American panel, as well as new face, Mexican pop star Paulina Rubio and returning judges Demi Lovato and Cowell. The two developed an unlikely friendship on last year's show and Demi was praised by fans for her fearlessness when it came to expressing her opinions and confronting her boss live on air.
The two newbies replace outgoing judges L.A. Reid and Britney Spears.
As to why he chose those two in particular to join the show, which gives the winner a $5m record deal, he joked that he "as drunk and then it was too late."
“The most fun that I have is just joking back and forth with the girls, and also picking on Simon,” Lovato said of her return to the panel.
“I’m actually on time as oppose to this guy right here (Simon). So I think the biggest diva would actually be Simon.”
“I disagree with this guy on a daily basis. He’s smart, he knows what he’s talking about, but at the same time he’s just a little outdated.”
And Cowell is confident that his new team will be stronger than ever.
“They’re very opinionated, they’re all successful, and that’s the most important thing,” he explained.
