Former secondary school teacher Jenny Dixon, who spends her summers soaking up the sun at the Playboy mansion, has landed a role in RTE soap Fair City.
Ms Dixon, who has filmed with RTE before, has landed the role of Kerri-Ann Boyle, Mondo's new romantic interest.
She's at the centre of a storyline focused on the return of George McMahon's characterto Carrigstown.
Dixon has made no secret of her acting ambitions and has flown to LA on several occasions to meet with prospective agents and casting directors.
In addition to Fair City, she has been been featured in several Irish short films, according to her IMDB page.
She made her debut on the show last night and held a part in her house to honour the occasion.
"My mam is mistaking this @RTEFairCity party as some kind of Oscars event/New YrsEveCountdown!," she wrote on Twitter. "Place is packed &I'm hiding under the sofa."
“My goal is always to do something I'm really proud of, and whether that's going for a first at university, helping my students work for science week, doing a photoshoot or chilling out at the Playboy Mansion, I give it my all," she previously said of her career hopes.
On her LA agency website, she says: "In term of what I hope to achieve, it’s just everyday to continue to grow, to learn, to work with and meet great people and to enjoy it all as much I can.
"Of course there’s the echelon of greats, of legends, directors, to writers, to actors that it’d be a privilege to get to work with, oh yes, there’s a hitlist, but right now, I’m enjoying basing in a new city, Los Angeles and experiencing life as a working actress and model amidst the heart of it all."
