Former EastEnders star Samantha Womack tipped for Britain’s Got Talent
FORMER EastEnders star Samantha Womack has been approached for a possible role on the judging panel for Britain's Got Talent.
The actress left Albert Square in the summer in the wake of her involvement with a controversial baby-swap storyline.
Now bosses of the ITV1 talent series have shown an interest in her as a potential judge for the 2012 competition.
Womack - who played Walford's Ronnie Branning - is on a shortlist of names for the next run of BGT, although it is not known whether she would want to take the role.
Regular judge Amanda Holden sent a message to her fans on Twitter over the weekend saying she would be taking part in the next series and would be attending auditions.
A spokeswoman for the Simon Cowell-created show said of Womack's potential inclusion: "This is pure speculation. The panel isn't confirmed yet."
