The Hangover: Part III (2013)
Sky Movies Premiere, 8.00pm
The third part of Todd Phillips' hugely successful comedy series is nothing like as bad as its immediate predecessor, but as anyone who saw 'The Hangover: Part II' will know, that's not much to boast about.
After Alan (Zach Galifianakis) buys a giraffe and causes a 20-car pile-up while trying to bring it home, his poor father dies of shock. At the funeral, Phil, Doug and Stu find out that Alan is off his meds and decide to stage an intervention.
They're driving him to Arizona for an extended stay at a rehab facility when the demented criminal Leslie Chow resurfaces, bringing with him a world of trouble. 'Hangover III' has more of a heart than the first two films, and there are some nice moments.
Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Justin Bartha and Ken Jeong star.
Son of Paleface (1952)
In this sequel to the 'The Paleface', Bob Hope reprises the role of Peter, a cowardly dentist who finds the going tough when he travels west to inherit a family fortune. Jane Russell plays a masked female bandit who terrorises the town of Sawbuck Pass, while Roy Rogers terrorises the locals with song.
Million Dollar Baby (2004)
Sky Movies Drama, 8.00pm
Clint Eastwood directs and stars in this moving drama about an ageing boxing coach called Frankie Dunn who is persuaded to take on a raw but gutsy blue collar female fighter. She has talent, and the two bond, but as the film develops Eddie faces a dilemma that conflicts with his faith.
The Sitter (2011)
Sky Movies Comedy, 12.55am
Flat comedy starring Jonah Hill as Noah Griffith, a college dropout who's so desperate for money that he agrees to babysit for neighbour's kids. But when he gets a call from his girlfriend, he brings the children into the city with him and ends up getting mixed up with a violent drug dealer.
Sky Movies Action, 1.15am
Jokey cult action film starring Jon Voight as a Paraguayan adventurer who kidnaps a National Geographic film crew and forces them to help him trap and catch a giant snake that's been spotted in the Amazonian rainforests. Owen Wilson, Ice Cube, Danny Trejo and Jennifer Lopez co-star.
The Neon Bible (1995)
Terence Davies' intriguing adaptation of John Kennedy Toole's novel stars Jacob Tierney as David, a 15-year-old boy who recalls the powerful influence his larger-than-life aunt had on his upbringing in a small Southern town. With Gena Rowlands, Denis Leary, Drake Bell and Frances Conroy.
