Boyzone made an emotional TV appearance yesterday as they performed together for the first time since bandmate Stephen Gately's death.
Appearing on the 'GMTV morning show' on ITV yesterday, the band spoke about how they were coming to terms with Stephen's death .
"I think we're just still trying to find our way... moment by moment really," Mikey Graham said. "It's a very difficult process to be doing the new single without Steo."
The four remaining members performed their new single 'Gave It All Away', which features Mr Gately's vocals.
The song is taken from the band's new album Brothers and pays special tribute to the 33-year-old who died in October last year in Majorca.
Singer Ronan Keating admitted the band were nervous about performing without Gately. "We've spoken about it. We recorded this song around 18 months to two years ago - when Stephen first put the vocal on," he said. "So we've had it for a long, long time. But this is now the point where we start performing it."
"This is the part we've been nervous about. Because we don't know what it's going to be like as a four piece and actually getting out there and singing it - so I guess it will just take time to figure out."
"He was very proud of this vocal that he put on this song. He loved this song, he sang it all the time."
