RAY Foley is to leave his afternoon slot on TodayFM to take over presenting duties on 98FM’s breakfast show.

The ‘Take me out’ presenter will take over the 98FM breakfast show in November after the departure of presenters Aiden Power and Clare Solan.

Ray said of the move: “Like everyone else in Dublin, I can’t believe 98FM are giving me and JP the breakfast show! This show has been a dream of mine ever since I was a newsreader on 98FM a decade ago.

“I’ll miss my mates in Today FM but this prospect was just too tempting to turn down. Dublin is in for a rude awakening,” he continued.

Foley will also be joined by current co-presenter JP Gilbourne in the move to the morning slot.

The popular 31 year old presenter began his radio career as a news reader for 98FM, then moving to Spin 1038 as a presenter and finally onto the national airwaves at TodayFM.
