Claudia Winkleman looks forward to a gruelling winter schedule as she takes the helm of Film 2010.

Claudia Winkleman would appear to be keeping her options open as she prepares to present Film 2010 for the BBC next month.

The 38 year-old tells me that she is keeping her job on Strictly Come Dancing to provide a backup plan in the event that she fails to pass muster on the review show.

"I'm doing it [Strictly] as well and the Radio 2 Arts Show," she says at the Scott Pilgrim VS. The World premiere at the Empire cinema in Leicester Square.

"I don't know when I'm going to sleep. I can't let it [Strictly] go because if I'm going to mess up Film, I'm going to have to have something else to do." Optimism if ever I heard it.
