Cheryl Cole drops biggest hint of return to X Factor, as Louis reveals Simon comeback
Former judge is set to make a return along with Simon Cowell and Dannii Minogue next year
The former Girls Aloud star posted a photo of herself and fellow former Dannii Minogue, posing backstage at the show in 2008.
She wrote with it: ''#Me and Ms.Minogue #2008.''
Cheryl was a popular judge on the show between 2008 an 2010 when she left to join the X Factor in the US, but was dropped after one episode.
It was rumoured that it was because US audiences couldn't understand her Newcastle accent. She later sued producers with the case settled out of court.
The UK X Factor being overtaken by the BBC's Strictly Come Dancing, and now panellist Louis Walsh has indicated she could be about to return with Simon Cowell.
"That's what I've heard, Cheryl is coming back next year with Simon on the panel. He loves her.
"The two of them on the same panel just works. It's not 100pc but if I was a betting man I would bet on it," said Walsh.
Although former prison warden Sam Bailey scooped top prize with more than than one million votes last weekend, the Irish pop manager doubted she would be a global superstar.
"Sam will be No1 for Christmas. Then maybe one or two albums.
"I don't know if she is going to be a global superstar like Leona Lewis. She is not a Beyonce, at the same time she is a great singer and there is a market for her.
"She won't be going back to cruise ships for a long long time," he said with reference to her past work singing on the high seas.
Meanwhile Walsh (60) said he was not surprised that former Westlife member Kian Egan won another ITV reality show I'm A Celebrity...
"Kian was always a good team player. He has a talent for keeping the whole thing together.
"That's why he was my point of contact in Westlife. He was the guy I would ring every day. I knew everyone would like him in the jungle and that's why he won," he said.
The X Factor judge said his next project was to get his new band signed to a record label and launched in the middle of 2014.
