Caprice set to join ‘Real Housewives UK’ ahead of debut on Bravo
MODEL Caprice is the latest name attached to the UK’s first version of the popular US ‘Housewives’ show.
The show won’t be affiliated with the ‘Housewives’ franchise however, and the working title is believed to be ‘Ladies of London’.
Businesswoman Caroline Stanbury, model Noelle Reno and Alexander McQueen's friend Annabelle Neilson are also rumoured to be part of the lineup.
Patsy Kensit and model Jodie Kidd are also rumored to be appearing – although it is thought they will be cameo appearances rather than joining as full time cast members.
A source told The Sun: "Unlike Made In Chelsea, there is no script. It's a documentary about real, rich women living in the capital with all the glitz, glamour and scandal that that brings.
"There's a lot more to these women's lives than just shopping and necking champagne. Viewers are going to be shocked by just what goes on in these elite circles."
They added: "Caprice is trying to juggle her underwear business while preparing to be a mother for the first time.
"She is determined to keep up with the pace of life that these women in London lead, while frantically preparing for motherhood.
"It promises to be a very funny, scandalous and sometimes very moving new series for reality TV fans."
The ‘Real Housewives’ series has been a ratings smash in the US, with versions in New York, Beverly Hills, Atlanta, New Jersey, Miami and the original OC version.
TV3 produced ‘Dublin Wives’ – although not affiliated with the US versions, it followed a similar format.
The UK version is expected to air later this year.
