Linda Martin may have missed the style memo for her breakfast date with Alan Hughes this morning, or perhaps she just loves her new costume so much she can’t take it off.
The singer and entertainer joined TV3 presenter Alan Hughes on Ireland AM this morning but raised a few eyebrows with her choice of dress.
A full-length, snow queen-like white gown and a glamorous sky-high silver crown was Linda’s choice of attire for the morning meet.
Viewers had to blink twice to recognise the former Eurovision winner as Linda came in full costume from this year’s pantomime show.
Martin plays Gaston’s mother Moron in this year’s Beauty & The Beast pantomime.
“We have two shows a day for 17 days, and between performances our food is brought in, the kettle goes on, we get into our onesies and watch a DVD or have the craic,” Linda told independent.ie recently.
“The door to the dressing room stays open and everyone comes in and out, so we know who's in love from the night before, and who fancies who, and there's a lovely buzz. John and Edward, aka Jedward, are the stars, and they're 22 now.
“They're getting a little older, maybe not so much wiser, but they're amazing and I just love them.”
The singer said she only has Christmas Eve and Christmas Day off this year but will enjoy Christmas Day with her partner Ronan.
“I'm not a good cook and very rarely eat meat, so Marks and Sparks gets a visit beforehand,” she laughed.
