Amy left to flounder in sue's sitcom
Amy Huberman was a winning presence in the otherwise rough-and-ready Comedy Central sitcom Threesome, so it was disappointing to observe her mugging like mad while guesting on BBC Two's Heading Out.
Mind you, this unfunny sitcom, written by and starring Sue Perkins, didn't offer her any decent material or even a character that was in any way believable. Not that I believed in the Perkins character, either – a 40-something vet who still hasn't told her elderly parents that she's gay.
The smug Perkins seems to think that her mere presence is enough to make it all worth our time, but it isn't.
