RITA Ora has revealed that she has been in discussions with producers of X Factor over the possibility of joining the show – leading to suggestions Tulisa has been axed.
The singer confirmed that producers had approached her, however she was forced to turn them down due to the commitment being on the show would take.
Ora told The Mirror: "If I were to take on that role, it would have to be at a point when I could give it my full attention.
"I have so much to accomplish first and it's kind of a full-time job being on X Factor. It's not like a nine to five. It's constant, for months."
She added: "Not that I have anything against it - I love it, but if I was to take on a full-time role it would be at a point when I'm loads of albums in.”
Ora’s revelation appears to confirm speculation that at least one of the panel will not be returning for the next series.
Show insiders have claimed the only safe judge is Nicole Scherzinger, after she impressed producers and viewers on the last series.
It is also believed Simon Cowell is insistent that Louis Walsh will also return to the show, marking a decade on the panel.
