A heart-warming video has gone viral after songstress Taylor Swift surprised a six-year-old super fan currently battling cancer.
Swift visited Boston Children’s Hospital to surprise little Jordan Nickerson (6), who is undergoing treatment for Leukemia.
On a Facebook page set up to document his journey, his family explained that when Jordan was less than a year old, he was diagnosed with Williams Syndrome, a rare genetic disorder that caused physical and developmental disabilities. They also said that he was was diagnosed with cancer just a few weeks ago.
In the heart-warming video, the pair clearly got on like a house on fire, with Swift starting a sing-along.
"I love singing songs for people, but I want to sing a song for you more than all the other people," Swift told him.
“Just do it,” he sweetly encouraged her. Jordan then helped her belt out the chorus of ‘We Are Never Ever Getting Back Together.’
This was no celebrity simply looking for some extra attention, the seven-time Grammy singer was there solely for Jordan, chatting to him about his interest in Spiderman, and then playing a game of air hockey with him.
“I love to play with Play-Doh and talk about Spiderman,” Swift told a delighted Jordan in the video.
Swift had clearly met her air-hockey match in Jordan, as the little one took no time at all in winning the game.
If Jordan’s beaming smile is anything to go by, Swift’s visit clearly made his day.
Swift is no stranger to making her fans day - the singer hit the headlines last April when she flew from New York to Ohio to surprise 'hardcore fan' Gena Gabrielle at her baby shower.
