Super Bowl 50 and halftime show set Twitter on fire
Super Bowl 50 and the halftime show featuring Coldplay, Beyonce, and Bruno Mars generated more than 3.9 million tweets.
The most tweeted about performer was, unsurprisingly, Beyonce, as she caused a stir by releasing her new single Formation and announcing her tour in the run up to Sunday night's event.
During the halftime show itself there were 1.3m tweets about Beyonce, 774,000 tweets about Coldplay and 341,000 tweets about Bruno Mars.
The top tweeted halftime songs were: Formation, Uptown Funk, Paradise and Viva La Vida.
Top terms in tweets about Beyonce included the words: tour, queen, formation, waiting, life, slay while top terms in tweets about Coldplay included the words love, iconic, compared, good.
Top terms in tweets about Bruno included the words dance, good, god, battle, and mark ronson.
