The page, entitled '530 Fatties' was shut down during the week after complaints from social media users about its content.
"We do not tolerate bullying or harassment," a spokesperson told the Huffington post.
"We allow users to speak freely on matters and people of public interest, but take action on all reports of abusive behavior directed at private individuals."
The controversial page had less than 200 likes when it was closed.
Teenager Jessi Lynn Howell featured on the page without her consent and said that the photos published featured her 50lbs heavier.
"It's really hurtful and it's really embarrassing," she told CNN.
"They post people's pictures without their permission - that's hurtful.
'I know it's probably someone from around here and whoever it is, they need to stop."
