New app lets you see where you're walking while you tweet
Composing texts, emails and tweets while walking has become a popular if somewhat dangerous trend.
But a new Type n Walk iPhone app intends to minimise the likelihood of colliding with passerbys, traffic and cable poles while tapping away.
Apple-inspired, the new app allows the user to see their surroundings in front of them - literally through the mobile screen or what developers are calling a "transparent viewport".
Combined with your peripheral vision, the chances of bumping into already irritated commuters or falling off a step into full-flow traffic will apparently be reduced.
But the Type n Walk is not only for those on the move. Use it sitting or standing so that you can stay aware of your surroundings while you type.
Check out how it works right here.
