A YouTube video has brought up new conspiracy theories about UFOs and NASA attempts to cover up what conspiracy theorists claim was a UFO sighting.
The video was posted to the video sharing site over a year ago and purports to show an image which some believe may be proof of alien life.
User Streetcap1 posted the clip which was filmed from the International Space Station after the video-feed from the station failed during the broadcast.
Streetcap1 wrote under the video: “Remember a ufo is an unidentified flying object. This could well be a meteor or the like. What made it interesting was the camera cut off when the ufo seemed to stop.”
After remaining quiet all this time NASA has come out to deny internet conspiracy theories that it intentionally cut the video-feed, saying: “The International Space Station regularly passes out of range of the Tracking and Data Relay Satellites (TDRS) used to send and receive video, voice and telemetry from the station.”
However the video now has over 2.7 million views on YouTube so we are still suspicious.
