A MUSICIAN is experiencing brisk sales of his new album after he launched it in a very novel way on the internet yesterday.

Dublin man Daniel Anderson recorded his debut album 'Patterns' in a custom studio that he built with his own hands at the bottom of his garden.

He then began travelling door to door in order to sell his music and to reach people in a unique way.

The album is due for release on September 18th but the singer/songwriter says that due to the current state of the music industry he has "No money, no record label and nowhere to sell it (because all the shops are closed)."

So, Anderson resolved to think outside the box, and the video that he uploaded to his Facebook page has been viewed by 35,000 people to date.

The footage showing him standing on doorsteps, while trying to convince people to buy his record has gone viral, and he is thrilled with the response.

"I am genuinely overwhelmed. Thank you all for buying the record. It has been a crazy day!!! I haven't even scratched the surface of the orders!!" he said.
