Censored: Rhianna too risqué for Instagram
The world is familiar – nay even jaded – with topless pictures of female celebs.
So leave it to Rhianna to take the modelling shoot one step further – by posing for bottomless snaps for the world to see.
However, the world of social media is not completely ready for this turn of events as Instagram removed the shots an hour after the pop princess posted them on Tuesday.
According to TMZ, the pictures violated their rules against nudity but the ever resourceful Rhianna simply uploaded the snaps to her Twitter account instead.
One snap shows her booty as she lies on her stomach beside a swimming pool while, in another, a netted black G-string is the only thing that covers her modesty as she perches on the edge of a diving board.
The raunchy spread for French magazine Lui – which leads with a topless pic of Rhianna on its cover – is the second similar shoot this month for the 26-year-old.
After she took her clothes off for Vogue Brazil, she proudly shared the images on Instagram and Twitter too, tweeting: ‘I am the G in Vogue!! Is it too late now?’
This may refer to the fact her head covers up one of the letters in the magazine’s logo or a ‘hilarious’ reference that she has no panties on.
Either way, who knows how much further the R&B singer can take the naked shoot?
The singer has recently been hit with a lawsuit from Dubliner Geoffrey Keating, who claims the popstar made 'nauseatingly offensive' and false statements about him in an email sent to him and his wife last July.
