A Teacher's Assistant at the University of Iowa attached sexy screenshots to an email to her students by accident.
According to the students on Twitter, the TA sent them the x-rated pics in an email supposedly containing problem answers to 'questions 76 and 78'.
It is being reported that the images may have been 'gifs' - which are short, moving picture sequences viewable when online.
The images were taken during a steamy Google Plus hangout between the TA and her boyfriend.
A website called Total Frat Move obtained the 'gifs', and described them as "quite sexual in nature", continuing "they appear to be having a grand time." Some other websites have gone as far as to post semi-censored versions of the images.
A spokesman for the University of Iowa has insisted that the TA "regrets her actions" and that the incident "was an accident".
The school is taking "appropriate actions under our policies and procedures," and the spokesman Tom Moore has requested that any students who had received the email delete the images and not share them online or with others.
