This is why Zara Larsson will not work with Beyonce

The singer admits she would struggle to keep it together.

Singer Zara Larsson has said she would never collaborate with Beyonce, because the struggle to keep her cool would be too difficult.

The Swedish teenager admitted she would not be able to hold in her emotions if she was given the chance to perform or record a video with her music idol.

Remembering the moment she burst into tears on meeting Queen B when she supported her at Wembley Stadium last year, she told ITV’s Lorraine show: “It was really surreal.

“It’s very emotional to see someone you’ve looked up to your whole life suddenly just standing there in front of you.

“That’s why I won’t work with her – we could never perform or do a video together.”

However, the 19-year-old told presenter Fearne Cotton that she would love to collaborate with stars such as Nicki Minaj or rapper Tupac Shakur.

Already a star in her home country since she was 10 years old, Zara is making her UK debut with her album So Good this week.

A vocal and dynamic character on her Swedish-speaking website, she recently told the BBC of her “scary” sleep paralysis condition.

“Basically, you wake up and you literally cannot move,” she said, “Your brain is active, but your body is not yet awake.”

But, pointing out the positive side, she added: “Energy is just vibrating through your body and it’s awesome.”
