West End and Broadway hit Wicked is coming to the Bord Gais Energy Theatre in July 2018 for a strictly limited seven week run.

The musical, which tells the untold story of the Witches of Oz will run from July 17 to September 1 next year and tickets go on sale this Friday June 30 via Ticketmaster.

It will be the second run for the musical in Ireland, having previously been seen by over 130,000 people during its run in 2013.

It tells the untold story of an unlikely but profound friendship between two sorcery students and their extraordinary adventures in Oz, which will ultimately see them fulfil their destinies as Glinda The Good and the Wicked Witch of the West.

Frank Baum in ‘The Wonderful Wizard of Oz’, Wicked has become a global phenomenon featuring technical wizardry, stunning costumes, a compelling origin story and show-stopping songs, including the incredible ‘Defying Gravity’.
