FESTIVAL-goers are sure to feel their funny bones tickled when Irish comedian Dara O Briain makes his long awaited debut at this summer's Vodafone Comedy Festival.
A vast collection of well-known and less established acts from home and abroad are promised to perform at the event.
Festival director Bren Berry said that the large line-up means there is something to suit everybody's tastes.
"With over 80 comedians, the level of choice and sheer talent on offer cements the festival as one of Europe's most loved events," he said.
Tickets for the event in the Iveagh Gardens, Dublin, go on sale on June 16 and the action gets under way on July 24.
Famous Irish acts such as David O'Doherty, Jason Byrne and Maeve Higgins will be joined by emerging talent such as Sean Nolan and Aisling Bea.
Nolan was the winner of last year's RTE New Comedy Award, while Bea has just joined the cast of Sky One's hit sitcom 'Trollied'.
David McSavage, of 'The Savage Eye', and the 'Republic of Telly's' Bernard O'Shea will also be there.
