Poetry - Ulick O'Connor: Time to flutter by Heaney's homeplace

I see that Bellaghy RUC Station in Derry has become the Seamus Heaney Homeplace, an arts and literary centre. It will contain a permanent exhibition dealing with Heaney's life and poetry.
Visitors can even share their memories of our Nobel Prize winner by contributing their own stories online. This is an exciting tribute that has not been done for any other Irish poet except Yeats. I look forward to going up to the Heaney Homeplace in the spring.
Here is one of my favourite Heaney poems, which I hope will figure in the exhibition. It is about St Francis and his love of animals.
I always think, when I hear it recited, that a fluttering of wings may be heard, and look over my shoulder to see the source. Nothing there though.
