Nadia Forde will take on her first leading panto role this year when she stars as Jasmine in Aladdin at Dublin’s Tivoli theatre.

The model has recently returned from Japan and will join TV hosts Brian Dowling and Alan Hughes for the Christmas show.

“I'm very excited about playing Princess Jasmine in this years Aladdin," she said. There's something so special about spending Christmas time at home in Ireland and I'm really looking forward to being part of the magic of Panto land once again.”

Brian Dowling, who is signed up to play Genie, said: “Although I am now based in the UK there is something about Christmas which makes me want to be at home with my family in Ireland. I was delighted when Alan and Karl asked me if I would come home this Christmas and once again join my ‘panto family’ at the Tivoli. It has been a number of years since I stepped onto that stage but I am really looking forward to it’.”

Alan Hughes will play ‘Sammy Sausages’ while Rob Murphy will play ‘Buffy’. Donal Brennan will play the title role of Aladdin.
