A Friends musical is on the way (but it’s unauthorised, and a parody)

It's the TV show fans just don't want to let go, but with no sign of a Friends movie ever happening, the only good news comes in the form of a musical.
Although, unless you're planning a trip to Chicago or the musical heads on a world tour, you may be set for another disappointment.
Friends: The One Where They Sing is an unauthorised parody tribute running from June 10 at the MCL Chicago Theatre.
It's based on the first season of the show and grew from a sketch at a comedy festival so it won't feature anyone well known.
“I am a huge lover of musicals and really wanted to tell a great story while staying true to the source material," director Eli Golden told Buzzfeed.
"This is a musical for fans by the fans, both of Friends and musicals in general.
