WATCH: Your beloved car or a new woman? The new Irish blind date show with an evil twist

'Pioc do Ride' (pun fully intended) is a brand new dating show on TG4 in which singletons chose a potential partner based not on looks or personality but on their driving skills.

The contestant's driving ability is also scrutinised.

Last night kick-boxer Corey who hails from Belfast had to choose between slick Adam, Irish dancing Liam and car-mad Paddy.

The lucky lady was only allowed to view the interior of the three lad's cars before watching them perform a test drive to exhibit their skills behind the wheel.

However the show features a clever twist - the man who is chosen can either accept the date or choose a voucher to do up his beloved car.

It's no Paisean Faisean, and there's no Daithi O'Se, but its compulsive viewing nonetheless.
