Simon Cowell has been gunned down in Ant 'n Dec's spoof murder mystery for Saturday Night Takeaway, ahead of show's return to ITV this Saturday.

A whole bunch of famous faces, including Caroline Flack, Olly Murs, Louis Walsh, Amanda Holden, Alesha Dixon, Piers Morgan and Ashley Roberts, have gathered in what appears to be Simon''s swanky mansion as they celebrate his birthday.

But, as the lights go out, a gunshot blasts through the party and Simon is seen collapsing down the stairs in front of his terrified guests.

Sinita, decked out in a leaf bikini, if the first to voice what has happened as she yells out: "Someone's shot Simon Cowell!"

Thankfully, Christopher Biggins is on hand to enlighten her: "We know dear, we all saw it!"

So which of the guests committed the crime? Was it Louis Walsh? He would have a reasonable motive. Maybe it was Piers Morgan looking to kill off his 'Mr Nasty' competition?

Perhaps it was even Ant 'Dec, seeking revenge on their former boss. They appear to be the only two in fancy dress . Maybe they had other things on their mind that distracted them from picking out a decent outfit... like plotting Simon Cowell's murder?

Check out the video below for a teaser of the spoof but skip to to the 1:15 minute mark to get to the good stuff.
