Dinklage (35) has teamed up with British band Coldplay for their upcoming Game of Thrones musical for Red Nose Day in the US on May 21.

A teaser of his performance has been released as Dinklage sings about being one of the few surviving original characters in the HBO series famed for killing off fan favourites.

"Remember Ned Stark? He was a lot of fun, but he didn't make it past season one," he sings.

"Robert Barathion was part of that crew, but he never made it to season two."

He continues, "The King of the North was cool you say, another favourite that ended up dead.

"You thought that Joffrey had to survive, he wasn't in the credits for season five."
