James Corden gives Chris Martin a lift to the Super Bowl in San Francisco for the latest instalment in his Carpool Karaoke series.
The Coldplay frontman cracks up while singing the band's hits including Adventure of a Lifetime, Yellow and Clocks with Corden and then attempts to explain American football and ends up sharing the rules of basketball instead.
During the 15 minute segment, Chris reveals he looks up to Springsteen and Bono and U2 in the world of music and sings Bowie's Heroes.
When James asked him if the group had ever been called anything else, Chris replied: "We were called Starfish for one concert," adding that he finds names with just a single word the most powerful.
"You know what's a cool name? Adele is a cool name - Beyonce, Taylor, you know who I mean if I say Taylor - just the one name.
"I think if you say 'The Cold' no-one is thinking Coldplay yet, so we have a way to go yet. We've got to try harder!"
