WATCH: Are these two of the most emotional Voice UK battles ever?
Saturday night's bumper episode of The Voice UK offered up a stunning batch of battles that frequently blew the coaches and viewers away.
Few, if any, fell flat but at least two were utterly magical, reducing both the coaches - Paloma Faith, Will.i.am, Ricky Wilson and even Boy 'I never cry' George - and viewers to tears.
As Chloe Castro and Alaric Green, both on Ricky's team, began to sing Antony and the Johnsons' 'Hope There's Someone', Boy George said, "This song is so special to me. I might cry."
The singers' close developing friendship was apparent in their VT and they held hands for part of the haunting song and once it ended Chloe asked, "Can we just come as duo?".
They received a standing ovation from the coaches.
Ricky chose to take Chloe through but Alaric was stolen by Boy George.
However, Chloe and Alaric faced stiff competition for the most emotional performance of the night as transgender singer Jordan Gray faced off with Theo Llewellyn.
They sang Kate Bush's This Woman's Work and matched each other note for note although Paloma chose to keep Jordan who she had brought back to the competition when another of her singers dropped out.
It wasn't all bad news for Theo, however, as he was stolen by Will.
