Was last night’s Room to Improve the most agreeable episode ever?

The homeowners were lovely, Dermot was given free reign, the builder was 'lush', and the finished product gave everyone serious house envy.
What was not to love about last night's Room to Improve on RTE One? It left us all with a warm and fuzzy feeling inside, no mean feat when you're battling Sunday night fear.
Things weren't all plain sailing - there was the not so small matter of absent foundations to contend with and a budget that got well and truly blown as a result.
But homeowners Mel and Aoife were a pleasure to watch and took it all in their stride.
Last year, Aoife from Sutton and her wife Mel from New Zealand bought themselves a three bed semi in Baldoyle north Dublin – a tiny house in a spectacular bayside location.
With incredible, unobstructed views of the sea and Portmarnock golf course, they’d been hoping to renovate the house to suit its location ever since.
With tiny rooms and fifty year old single windows, the house was cold, dark, and totally exposed to the gaze of passers-by on the road outside.
They wanted a bright, ergonomic and welcoming ultra modern home – just up architect Dermot Bannon's street and he was probably the most enthusiastic we've ever seen him about a build.
I'm actually really pleased they're so happy - they're a lovely couple. #RoomToImprove— Philip Nolan (@philipnolan1) February 21, 2016
He turned the house upside down with living space and a mezzaine on the upper floors, an atrium connecting to the rear garden, and a huge bespoke picture window to capture the stunning view.
And he delivered, albeit after a bit of budget stretching, and the help of a new builder, who everyone agreed was wonderful and also quite handsome, according to some fans on Twitter.
It was all just lovely. And despite the house envy it instilled in every viewer watching, we all wished the lovely couple happiness in their new abode.
Aoife and Mel are open to architecture. Dermot enjoying it. Treasure this moment. It's like Hen's Teeth. #RoomToImprove— Patrick Cullivan (@paddycullivan) February 21, 2016

Tweeting the show was very difficult this week. The clients were nice and the builder was accommodating. #RoomtoImprove— Claire Hennessy (@Kuhlayre) February 21, 2016
