'Vilest dress I've ever seen' - Groom designs dress that 'looks cheap as hell' on Don't Tell the Bride
Last night’s Don’t Tell the Bride did not fail to entertain.
When bride Maria (23) signed off all wedding planning privileges to her groom, little did she know that she’d be in for the disappointment of her life.
“I want a nice designer dress with the price tag to match,” she said.
And super confident groom Ryan thought he had it all covered. Professing that he'd scored a C in Art in his GCSE exams, he thought he'd make a great sartorial choice.
Even if Greg got an A+ in art I'd still not want him to design my wedding dress never mind a C howling! vilest dress I've ever seen! #dttb— Lauren (@LJx1991) July 28, 2016
Feel sorry for the designer woman here. Dress is well made, it's just a crap design #dttb— MiSH (@MiSHsWilli) July 28, 2016

“What is she, a belly dancer?” viewers heard the wedding party cry, when Maria tried on the dress.
The horrified bride stepped out in a gown, which had a see-through diamante-embellished panel across the middle, a corset-style crop top and a big skirt.
"Oh my God, it's nuts, the top is awful, it looks pink. I don't know what he has done. It looks so cheap," Maria cried.
“I designed that dress myself,” Ryan protested during a tension-filled phone call.
“It looks cheap as hell,” she said, nearly in tears.
Ryan, who organised himself a generous stag party in Marbella costing £1,500, was all about cutting costs elsewhere.
Maria even had to undertake a driving lesson on the way to her wedding.
Later he admitted that spending such a little amount on a dress might not have been a good idea.
"I am a risk taker and the risk with the dress didn't work, I cocked up."
Don’t Tell the Bride airs on Thursdays at 9pm on Sky 1.
