Jack and Stephen Teeling are covered in dust. The final dollops of paint are being applied to the brand new €10m Teeling Distillery in the heart of Dublin's Liberties.

It'll be open to tourists and visitors in a matter of days.

Teeling's is already the biggest Irish independent whiskey distiller, according to Jack, who plonked most of his windfall from the €80m sale of Cooley Distillery into creating a new hipster craft whiskey brand and a city-centre distillery.

The brothers - sons of legendary corporate raider and resources and whiskey tycoon John Teeling - have spotted a gap in the market for high-end Irish whiskey, somewhere between Jameson and Redbreast and targeted at Millennials.

The brothers' journey from building site to fully functioning distillery and global brand will be played out in a four-part TV3 documentary which begins on June 8.

A must-watch for anyone who wants to know how to get a new business up and running.
