TV3 boss Lynda McQuaid to leave station less than 12 months after joining team

TV3’s Director of Content, Lynda McQuaid, is to leave the station less than 12 months after she joined the TV3 team.

Lynda McQuaid took over from Jeff Forde as Director of Content in March 2015.

Staff at the station were notified of her departure this afternoon.

McQuaid began her career in Granada Television's entertainment division and worked on shows including Stars in Their Eyes, You’ve Been Framed! and This Morning.

She also acted as head of development at production company Screentime ShinAwiL who produce The Voice of Ireland.

In an internal email the station thanked McQuaid for the “significant contribution” she has made to the station.

Under her leadership Tv3 launched Saturday and Sunday AM.
