TV3 and RTE in 'bidding war' over Nadia Forde for rival presenting roles
Ireland's two biggest broadcasters are reportedly in a bidding war over Nadia Forde.
RTE and TV3 are set to fight it out over the model turned singer, who is also trying her hand at presenting after a successful stint guest hosting on Xpose earlier this year. She also appeared on TLC's Dance Moms Uk.
She is set to fly home to Dublin from her London base for a series of meeting to confirm a role as replacement for Aisling O'Loughlin and Karen Koster's upcoming maternity leave on TV3's flagship entertainment show, but has also been linked to RTE's upcoming version Bounce.
She filmed the pilot for the new series, which is being considered by RTE Two, but also has interest from Xpose, which she will be guest hosting next week.
"Nadia is flying in from the UK next week to host the show for a few days," an insider told the Mail on Sunday. "Producers are very keen to have Nadia fill in." Xpose are trialling a series of guest presenters, including former singer Jodi Albert.
As for the future of Bounce, which had a string of model hosts linked to it, including former beauty queen and Made in Chelsea guest star Nicola Hughes and Horse Outside video star Madeline Mulqueen.
"There are talks to roll it out two days a week initially to test the show and the response, then roll it out into the new year if it's a hit," the source added.
