We watched the trailer for episode eight as soon as we finished Monday night's episode but we somehow managed to miss one very important detail.

If you didn't catch the trailer, watch it below and see if you notice anything unusual? Pay close attention because it's just a small detail.

Did you see it? If not, don't worry - we missed it too but thanks to the super sleuths at the Game of Thrones subreddit, we managed to spot it.

Redditor Immoral honed in on these dents on The Mountain's armour.

If you look at another screenshot, you'll see the dents in his breastplate match the spikes on Lancel's weapon.

And they're fresh dents because at the start of the trailer, The Mountain's breast plate appears unscuffed.

So what does this mean?

Cersei "chooses violence" i.e. a trial by combat, with The Mountain representing her, that we already know. However, it's speculated that things will take a dramatic turn and the king's mother won't play by the rules - with her Frankenstein-ish warrior killing lots of the Faith Militant followers.

Judging from the breast plate dent, fans are suggesting that Lancel probably won't fare well against The Mountain and this could be the last episode we see Cersei's cousin make an appearance.

If he does die and The Mountain goes on a rampage against the Sparrows, this could have serious implications for the fate of King's Landing.

We doubt the newly-pious Tommen will take a Sparrow slaughtering well and his relationship with his mother may become even more tense.

Regardless of whether the fan theory is true or not, the major showdown between Cersei and the Sparrows is coming. The Queen mother is out for revenge - "the Lannisters always pay their debts" - and things could get seriously ugly.
