Holly Willoughby and Philip Schofield apparently celebrated their National Television Award win into the early hours of this morning.

The only problem was they had a show to present.  So, they rocked up to the ITV studios for This Morning in last night's outfits and still managed to entertain Britain and Ireland.

"We blame you entirely for what is about to happen. We can only apologise because we’re not right," Holly told the viewers.

She also admitted she hadn't been home although she apologised profusely for the state of the pair of them.

Having bagged the award for Best Daytime Television Show they went back to Ant McPartlin's house where they played Pie Face apparently.

Prior to the show the official This Morning account tweeted a pic of Holly having a nap on the show sofa.

Reporter Ferne McCann asked them if they were hungover and Phil replied, "No no, we're perfectly fine.  Not got there yet..."

Viewers were not perturbed by Holly and Philip's state, however.  Most of them praised their professionalism for making it on to the live show at all.
