Comic Mario Rosenstock has revealed he would consider jumping ship to TV3.

The well-known impersonator (below) has fronted three hit shows for RTE but is currently a free agent as he's between TV shows.

"Yeah absolutely I'd work with them if the right project came along," he said.

"I was only in TV3 last week doing The Seven O'Clock show. TV3 is where I started with the Vincent Browne show, those were the first TV sketches I did. I've always been friendly with the guys in there. They asked me if I could do something around the Rugby World Cup but I was working with RTE at the time. I would never rule out TV3. I think they're doing fantastic and have a really indigenously-made schedule."

He said his 2015 RTE show was "laborious" as it incorporated a live studio audience with an array of sketches and different characters.

"It nearly wrecked me. The hour was too long. I wasn't able to put the full attention into every detail," he said.

He'll take to the road shortly for his next regional tour, starting in Clare on November 12 and ending in Galway on December 4.
