The Fall star Aisling Franciosi lands role in US tv show Legends

The Fall actress Aisling Franciosi looks set to see her star rise Stateside as it has been revealed she's landed a role on a hit US television show.
The 22-year-old, who is best known for playing babysitter Katie alongside Fifty Shades of Grey actor Jamie Dornan, has been cast in the second series of TNT show Legends, which also stars A-list actor Sean Bean.
The young star will play troubled series regular Kate Crawford, a British student who according to Deadline is "searching for her own identity".
The news tops off what has been a good few weeks for Aisling , who has just been nominated for an IFTA for her role as the naive schoolgirl obsessed with serial killer Paul Spector in The Fall.
The half-Italian actress, who studied French and Spanish at Trinity College, has also previously acted in a variety of high-profile productions, including Irish film Jimmy's Hall, BBC drama Quirke and short film Ambition.
