She's best known for her acting roles on hit TV dramas such as The Fall and Raw, but now Tara Lee looks set to make waves in the music industry after being picked up by a major US label.

The actress (20) signed a publishing deal this week with music giants BMG Chrysalis, who include international superstars such as Kings of Leon and Duran Duran on their books.

After jetting over to LA for the deal, Dublin native Tara announced her delight on Facebook.

"Yesterday was one of the most incredible moments of my life.

"I took a trip to BMG's offices in LA… and signed a publishing deal," she wrote.

"So yeah, I'm all published and sh*t. They have Blondie…just saying…"

The talented star shared a statement from the company regarding the deal, which also revealed that she has been cast in a UK film called Moon Dogs, which is directed by Downton Abbey's Philip John.

The Fall star revealed earlier this year that she was splitting her time between Dublin and London.

"I have a film coming up in the summer," she told the Herald.

The Fall

"It's an English film. I'm living between Dublin and London at the moment, month by month."

Before the news of her LA publishing deal, Tara admitted that a jet-set lifestyle doesn't phase her and that she would consider moving to the US full time.

"I consider it all the time," she revealed.

"I'd like to travel, and given how much I love LA and New York, I'm sure at some stage I'll live there for a bit."

The songstress also opened up about working with Fifty Shades of Grey star Jamie Dornan (pictured with Gillian Anderson), who she starred with in The Fall.

The Irish actor, who plays serial killer Paul Spector in the popular series, was recently named the sexiest man in the world by magazine FHM.

While Tara - who played schoolgirl Daisy Drake, a friend of Paul's former babysitter Katie - didn't get to film many scenes with Dornan, he left a good impression on her.

"He's a really sweet person. He's a great actor, he's talented and yes he's very good looking," she admitted.

"I only got to speak with him for like an hour one day, we only had one scene together so it was just kind of like looking at photos of his daughter on his phone."
