Peter Dickson, the man behind on of television's most recognisable voices, is leaving his role on talent show The X Factor
The legendary "Voiceover Man" has announced he will not be returning for the next installment of Simon Cowell's entertainment show.
Dickson, who also provides the voiceover for Live at the Apollo, Britain's Got Talent, Family Fortunes, and many other shows, broke the news on his Twitter page.
"After the best 11 years with the X Factor, it's time for me to check out and cut loose," he stated.
The 58-year-old Belfast native is regarded as one of the most prominent voice artists in the world.
He has also lent his talent to Emirates airline, Etihad, and SatNav systems.
