It was one of the most successful shows on Channel 4 in the early 1990s and now The Crystal Maze is making a comeback.

The original TV game show involved contestants completing various life-size puzzles to earn Swarovski crystals which added up to time spent in a giant money-filled crystal within which they could grab notes to stuff their pockets.

It was mental.  And now it's coming back, not as a TV game show but a live interactive experience.  You'll have to pop over to London to take part but we reckon it's worth it.

The creators have been tweeting about it with blueprints of the game plan and a presenter who looks suspiciously like Richard O'Brien, who fronted the original series (and wrote the Rocky Horror Show).
