Stephen Fry is stepping down as host of QI to be replaced by panel regular Sandi Toksvig
Fans of QI will be disappointed to hear that host Stephen Fry has decided to step down.
Fry has helmed the hugely popular quiz show for a whopping 13 years and said it was "one of the best jobs in television" but he felt it "was time to move on"!
He will be replaced by a female host in the form of Sandi Toksvig, who was a regular panelist on the show.
She previously fronted BBC Radio Four's The News Quiz but stepped won earlier this year after a decade in the role.
Here's Fry in action with Sandi on the panel....
Stephen Fry not presenting QI. Next I'll find out Bob Monkhouse isn't doing the Golden Shot. Where will it all end?— Gary Walker (@Gary_R_Walker) October 14, 2015
@mattduplessis Wonder if I can get compassionate leave for this? (I know she's awesome but Stephen Fry is my spirit animal)— Shaina Boswell (@Shaina_Jade) October 14, 2015
If even Stephen Fry is sick of QI, probably time to stop it.— Ken Shabby (@MrKenShabby) October 14, 2015
