There was no going back for Sharon Horgan when she walked straight into an innuendo about meat on The Johnathan Ross Show on Saturday night.
The Irish actress was on the show to speak about her new series Divorce, but somehow ended up trapped in a meat-heavy innuendo that she expertly handled.
Joining her on the couch was Russell Brand, Matt and Luke Goss and Alan Davis, who found the whole situation increasingly hilarious.
The Catastrophe star told the audience the story of how she began eating meat again after 16 years of being a vegetarian.
The 46-year-old credited the introduction of meat in her diet to meeting her husband but, understandably, the her fellow interviewees took it a different way.
"I started eating meat again when I was 32."
"Oh God, I was going to say before I met my husband," she continued, before realising what she had said.
"The reason why I remember, it was part of our courtship."
There was no going back for Sharon at this stage, as she dug herself deeper into the joke.
"What I mean is, in Ireland, there wasn't a lot of good meat on offer in the 70s. There was a lot more meat available in London."
She finished with the best line of all: "I used to go into supermarkets and stand in the cold meat aisles and just kind of be turned on."
