If you're in your 20s, 30s and 40s and live at home with your parents, RTE are looking for you to participate in a new show.

The four-part series will meet adults living in the family home and help them put a plan in place to help them live independently.

Participants will be given expert financial advice to help them with rent, house-share or buying options.

With high rents and a shortage of properties to buy, the series will explore the realities of being stuck at home – for both the grown-up child and their parents.

Contributors will be given expert advice and the opportunity to explore all the available housing options before they decide where they will live.

This new series comes at a time when living at home is the new norm.

Nearly one-in-four Irish adults between 25 and 34 are still living at home. The effects are also reflected in the number of people “downsizing” their family homes, which have plummeted in the last two years.

So whether you’re a parent or a grown-up child in the family home, This Crowded House can help!

Anyone who wishes to apply can find the application form here, or email crowdedhouse@indiepics.ie, or call 01 7088162.
