'Paul Williams: State of Fear' - are we winning or losing the war on crime?

TV3 will throw the spotlight on organised crime in Ireland for two consecutive nights with Paul Williams: State of Fear.
Following the success of Gangsters at War, INM Special Correspondent Williams will again throw the spotlight on organised crime in Ireland in his new two-part documentary.
The show will be aired on two consecutive nights on TV3 on Monday, November 28 and Tuesday, November 29 at 10pm.
20 years since the brutal assassination of Sunday Independent journalist Veronica Guerin journalists' lives are still being threatened, while on the streets of Dublin gangsters kill without fear or mercy.
Williams will embark on a personal journey, interviewing prominent figures in Irish media, most of whom were friends and colleagues of Veronica's, as well as her brother Jimmy.
The two-part crime documentary aims to see if we are winning the war on gangland crime since the horrific events of 1996.
Following on from Paul Williams: State of Fear, on Wednesday November 30, Pat Kenny Tonight will also hone in on the subject of organised crime in Ireland. Panelists will discuss the recent spate of gangland crimes and debate whether we need to change tactics in our war on crime.
Paul Williams: State of Fear airs Monday, November 28 and Tuesday, November 29 at 10pm on TV3.
