No more Smoldark! Aidan Turner will not be partaking in any shirtless scything in Poldark second series

The shirtless scything scene in Poldark's first series garnered more column inches than any other aspect of the hit BBC One drama.
Aidan Turner as Ross Poldark in that particular scene was voted top TV moment of 2015 by Radio Times readers at the National Television Awards in the UK.
Across the water in the US viewers swooned at his pert pecs.
However, fans may be disappointed to hear that there won't be any flesh-flashing in the second series, at least not from Poldark.
"Unfortunately autumn is very chilly in Cornwall, so he wont' be doing any in that," writer Debbie Horsfield told The Guardian.
Speaking at Royal Television Society event in London she added, "“Who knew that one photograph would go global and there wouldn’t be a day in six months when it wasn’t in the paper? Normally after a show has had its first episode you’re kind of begging the press to show a bit of interest.
“I don’t think any of us thought [of the image of Turner scything] ‘Wow that’s going to be in every newspaper for the next year.’”
Turner (32) may well be relieved he got to keep his clothes on for this series, which filmed from last autumn until recently.
He was a little perturbed by all the attention.
When he won top TV moment of 2015, he said, “Thank you, I’m slightly confused, I didn’t know I was nominated for this award. I didn’t know there was an Impact Award. I’m not sure why I’m here, I’m glad to be, and who knows, this might be the only one I get so I’m delighted,” he said.
“I guess the scything scenes kind of speak for themselves, there’s little to say there, but the rest of the cast, it’s such a delight to be in this show, we have such talented people. This Impact Award isn’t just for me, it’s for all of us. Cheers, I appreciate it.”
